I purchased this as my old slow cooker was too big for one person. As the insert is metal it is much lighter than most slow cookers. You can also sear the meat in the insert on the stove prior to cooking so saves on washing up. Very satisfied.

Love this! Handy little slow cooker great for small meals, two or four people. Cook on stove to brown meat before putting in slow cooker. Only thing I can fault is I wish the insert had handles to make it easier to lift off stove and place in slow cooker,
